  The Henry J. Kaiser Family Foundation The Henry J. Kaiser Family Foundation focuses on the major health care issues facing the nation, including HIV. The Foundation is an independent voice and source of facts and analysis for policymakers, the media, the health care community, and the general public.
     
American Academy of HIV Medicine The American Academy of HIV Medicine is an organization of physicians dedicated to promoting excellence in HIV care.
   
Fight AIDS @Home This computational research project partnership between Entropia and the Olson laboratory at The Scripps Research Institute uses your computer to assist AIDS research. Through Entropia's FightAIDSatHome project and donation of massive computing power, TSRI scientists and researchers have an ideal system to model the evolution of drug resistance and design anti-HIV drugs necessary to fight AIDS.
   
The HIV/AIDS Bureau of the Health Resources and Services Administration HRSA administers Ryan White CARE Act programs, which provide care, treatment, and services for people living with HIV. The HIV/AIDS Bureau site is an excellent source of information on CARE Act programs and funding, evaluation activities, data reports, and grant opportunities. The site also provides links to publications which address a range of CARE Act program and policy issues. Information on technical assistance available to CARE Act grantees is also provided.
  
HIV/AIDS Publications and Resources A CDC site with many online publications available to visitors including, Partner Notification and Referral Services, Counseling, Testing and Referral Standards, and Fact Sheets.
  
Centers for Disease Control and Prevention The CDC National AIDS Clearinghouse is a service of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, also a good source of information about CDC AIDS Programs.
  
HIV InSite Billing itself as the "Gateway to AIDS Knowledge," this project of the University of California Dan Francisco is an excellent all-around AIDS information website, including documents on medical issues, social issues, prevention an education, and community resources. It also has a comprehensive collection of links to other AIDS-related sites.
   
The AIDS Memorial Quilt The AIDS Memorial Quilt provides a creative means for remembrance and healing, illustrates the enormity of the AIDS epidemic, and increases public awareness of AIDS.
  
The Body This site presents a wide range of AIDS information, from the basics of transmission to the quality of life issues, and contains a useful "political scene" page.
  
Everybody Preventing HIV and Other Sexually Transmitted Diseases Among Young Teens A new resource for teachers, families, and health professionals that promotes educational strategies for preventing HIV and other sexually transmitted diseases among 5-9th grade students.
  
  HIV/AIDS in the Workplace CDC’s Business/Labor Responds to AIDS program helps large and small businesses and labor unions meet the challenges of HIV/AIDS in the workplace and the community. For resources and tools addressing HIV/AIDS in the workplace visit this site.
 
Policy Action Network A helpful website about health law. This page is a division of the American Project: A journal for the Liberal Imagination.
   
The International AIDS Candlelight Memorial  This 12-month mobilization project encourages communities and individuals around the world to become more involved with HIV/AIDS work through participation in a worldwide memorial.
  
  
HIV & AIDS Statistics This is one of the most complete sources for HIV and AIDS Statistics on the Internet. Stats can be checked by country, regions within countries or world wide. Information is available for different ages, sexes, and ethnicities.
  
The World Bank HIV/AIDS Site This site focuses on HIV/AIDS as a world development crisis as well as a global health crisis. It also provides links to many other useful sites.
  
UNAIDS This is the website for the United Nations HIV/AIDS Program. It discusses the United Nations' response to the epidemic world wide. The site displays publications online and gives users a chance to ask questions.
  
World Health Organization This is the offical site of the World Health Organization (WHO). The objective of the WHO is to abtain the highest level of health for all people world-wide. For many years, HIV/AIDS has been a major focus of the WHO.
  
International AIDS Economics Network This site provides "data, tools, and analysis for compassionate, cost-effective responses to a global epidemic." Taking a different approach to the epidemic, this site provides what the IAEN believes are real strategies in the fight against AIDS world-wide.
   
  
Thomas The Thomas site is a product of the Library of Congress, and is the best source of information about the US Congress, especially for downloading copies of legislation.
  
The White House This is the White House home page. You should use it to keep abreast of the Administration policies.
